This book is about the orchestra.

이 책은 오케스트라에 대한 것이란다.

The orchestra is a large group of musicians who play a variety of different instruments together. Orchestras usually play classical music.

별이 반짝이는 숲 속의 공터에 동물들의 그림자가 보입니다.

누군가를 기다리는 것일까요?

밤이라서 흐릿한 실루엣만 보입니다.

잠시 후 둥근달이 떠올라 무대를 환히 비추자 가슴에 동그란 달무늬 옷을 입은 쥐가 한 마리 무대 위로 등장합니다.

“If you like to dance

and sometimes sing,

why don't you do the animal thing?"

“춤추기 좋아하고 가끔 노래 부른다면

동물들처럼 해 보면 어때요? “

그러자 동물들이 하나씩 나와서 자기의 몸동작과 소리 등을 보여줍니다,

처음 등장한 동물은 펭귄 입니다.

발뒤꿈치를 모으고 뒤뚱 뒤뚱  걷습니다.

‘크랙, 크랙, 크랙. ’

소리도 내어 봅니다.

다음에 등장한 동물은 타조 입니다.

무릎을 높이 들고 날개를 펄럭이며 걸어봅니다.

뱀은 쓰윽 미끄러지듯 움직이며 쉿 소리를 냅니다.

동물들이 차례로 등장하며 자기의 몸동작이나 소리를 들여 줍니다.

이렇게 하다보면 저절로 dance가 되고 song이 됩니다.

아이들에게  animal name/ animal sound/action words 그리고  의성어,

의태어 까지도  즐기며 익힐 수 있는 좋은 그림책이 될 것 입니다.
